Privacy
What we record, and what you control.
Written plainly, because a privacy policy nobody reads protects nobody.
What is recorded
Your account details, the journey your clinic assigned, your check-in answers, any readings, labs or medications recorded by you or your clinician, messages you send, and meal photos if you choose to add them.
Who can see it
You, and the members of your care team assigned to you by your clinic. Access is by role: a nutritionist does not automatically see clinical notes, and staff not assigned to you cannot open your record at all. Every access to a member record is logged.
What you control
You can withdraw consent, delete any meal photo or all of them, and ask your clinic for a copy of your data. Meal photos delete themselves automatically after a window your clinic sets.
What we do not do
We do not sell data. We do not use your health information to target advertising. There is no advertising in Metabolixia.
Retention
Clinical records are kept while your clinic is responsible for your care, in line with their obligations. Meal photos are the exception and are deleted on the schedule above.
